5 things we learned from Notorious B.I.G.'s autopsy report12/7/2012
One of these days, Christopher Wallace — better known as the Notorious B.I.G. — is actually going to get to rest in peace. When we saw the slain rapper's autopsy report Friday, 15 years after he was gunned down in Los Angeles, what did we learn? First, though Wallace was shot four times, only one of those bullets was deemed fatal — a shot to his right rip that tore through vital organs. Second, at his death he weighed 395 pounds. Third, an emergency thoracotomy was attempted but failed. Fourth, the coroner's hand-scrawled notes observe that Wallace's forearm tattoo read "The Lord is My Light and My Salvation..." Fifth, in a bit of startling understatement, doctors noted: "Decedent may be rap singer." [Source]
