Watch pesky Aussie kids do their best to injure pro tennis player

12/31/2012

If Roger Federer or Andy Murray can't stop Novak Djokovic from defending his Australian Open title, then perhaps the children of Perth can. The tennis pro had an injury scare Monday when his leg was hit by a railing that fell while he was signing autographs for enthusiastic young Australian fans. As the kids crowded around the world’s No. 1 tennis player, a crush caused the barrier keeping them apart to break, hitting Djokovic in the legs as it fell. The Serbian champ, who had just beaten Italian Andreas Seppi at the Hopman Cup, limped off the court to receive treatment, but no serious damage was done. Better luck next time, you meddling kids.
