Michigan man finds 1894 football card worth $10K

Here's today's "every cloud has its silver lining" moment: Western Michigan's Fox 17 reports that a Kentwood, Mich., man who was cleaning out an old farmhouse after a family death found a 19th century college football card valued at an estimated $10,000. The card from 1894 bears the likeness of Harvard's John Dunlop and is known as "Anonymous" because it doesn't bear Dunlop's name. The collectible is part of the first known set of football cards. The man, who is not identified, was going to toss the card and 35 other vintage cards, but decided to check with a local sports card dealer first. Smart move.

What would you do with a surprise $10,000?

Don't need the money. I have a gameplan for being rich. First I implement the "Jimmy Hughes System" and place much of my paycheck on the lottery. Next I also collect lots and lots of aluminum cans. At thegoing rate of 60 cents a pound I only need to collect 53333333 lbs. to make my first millions. I have already collected 64 cans

After paying the taxes and filling up my gas tank; I would take what was left over and make a local call on a public telephone!! Do those things still exist?
