Team USA is the heavy favorite to win the men's basketball gold medal at this summer's Olympics in London, but they're not going to win any fashion contests with their new uniforms. Fourth-Place Medal called the new logo "hideous," reserving special criticism for the large "S" in the middle. "Nobody says United STATES of America," they wrote. ESPN's @arashmarkazi and others piled on. The jerseys are made from 96 percent recycled polyester and plastic bottles as part of Nike's new Hyper Elite Uniform line, which is great for people who want lightweight and sustainable jerseys that look like they're from the Red Roof Inn collection.

Is the greed of the uniform makers gotten so bad that they think it is a fashion show. I got tiered of watching collage football because they had a new uniform every week. It is a sport and at the end of the game there is a winner because of the effort on the field or court. there is no points for fashion. unless you wear pink instead of white then the other team gets points. so who cares just play.
