Did Jay Norvell (@coachJayNorvell) get hacked or is he really going out there like that?

Social media has become a valuable recruiting tool for college football coaches, but some still forget that Twitter is, you know, a public forum. Oklahoma assistant Jay Norvell learned the hard way Tuesday, when he reportedly sent tweets to six recruits...which is a no-no since it's currently a recruiting "quiet period," in which off-campus contact with recruits is not allowed. The tweets (since deleted), were mostly of the stock variety: "This is Coach Jay Norvell from Oklahoma. Cell (405) XXX-XXXX Would like to offer you a Full Scholarship to Oklahoma. Call me!" We're guessing he might want to change his cell phone number, or at least his Twitter password, since there's a chance, of course, that his account may have been hacked. Oklahoma reps tell the Tulsa World that they're looking into the situation.
