PR experts agree: The NRA press conference was a disaster
12/23/2012The professional verdict on the NRA’s bizarre Friday press conference is in. And it ain’t pretty. Gene Grabowski, a former PR man for gun manufacturers, called the NRA statement delivered by Wayne LaPierre "mean-spirited, cold and misguided." He said he felt that overall "it was worse than if the NRA had not spoken at all." Jonathan Bernstein, president of a Los Angeles-based crisis management firm, was "not even sure [the NRA] have listened to their own members," accusing them of acting "too aggressively." [Source]
