Back in the day, US planned to nuke the world if pres was killed
12/12/2012Up until 1968, the United States had a plan on what to do if the president was killed or disappeared during an attack on the country, and it was a calm, measured response. (Just kidding.) President Lyndon Johnson changed the policy after members of his cabinet advised that the policy was "dangerous." [Source]
