NYC subway riders unite to eject accused groper

7/15/2012

The people of New York City may seem curt and self-absorbed sometimes, but when duty calls they enforce order and justice in their fine city with a passion rarely seen in other major metropolitan areas. Friday night, after two distressed women boarded the L Train at Lorimer Station in Brooklyn, allegedly just after being groped by a stranger, their fellow citizens leapt into action and forcibly removed the accused from the train. Of course, this being 2012, at least one person stood back and videoed the entire episode, revealing what most locals already knew: You do not mess with New Yorkers.
