Don't put off that island vacation — Oahu is dissolving

12/28/2012

Book 'em, Danno. Your plane tickets to Honolulu, that is. If you want to enjoy the impressive landscape of the 50th state, you'd better get a move on because scientists have discovered that Oahu is slowly dissolving. OK, verrrrrrrrry slowly. So slowly that it's actually growing at the same time. Confused? Think of it as middle-age weight redistribution. The good news is you can probably book a super saver fare: This whole thing could take 1.5 million years. [Source]
