While letting the audience know that medical assistance was on hand in case anyone fainted, Obama reassured everyone that “paralegals” (rather than paramedics) were available if they started to feel weak. It might not have been the best time for Barack to give faulty instructions, considering at least 20 people collapsed from the heat. Obama caught his gaffe soon after, adding, “You don’t need lawyers.” Either the campaign trail is taking its toll on the POTUS, or he’s caught on to the truth of the American medical system: sue first, seek help second.
