But that was the latest from the so-called "fiscal cliff" today as President Obama jokingly asked a Buddhist monk to pray for the U.S. budget deal. The commander in chief made the quip after a shoeless tour of Thailand's Wat Pho Royal Monastery with Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, saying, "We’re working on this budget, we’re going to need a lot of prayer for that."
