Awful people blast Obama for honoring Newtown victims during football
12/17/2012Warning: The following story may reduce your faith in humanity to dangerously low levels. While the rest of us were being quietly moved by President Obama's speech at the Sunday-night vigil in Newtown, Conn., some lowlifes were busy complaining on Twitter that his televised address pre-empted part of NBC's coverage of the 49ers-Patriots game. (NBC cut back to the game with about six minutes left in the first quarter.) Making it even worse, many of them used the N-word and other racist insults while lashing out at Obama for daring to interrupt 10 minutes of a football game in the wake of the nation's second worst school shooting tragedy ever.
