Being president doesn't mean you can skip your kids' dance recitals

He might be the commander-in-chief and an extremely busy guy in general, but President Obama's top job is still just being a dad. This was sweetly proven by his attendance at 11-year-old daughter Sasha's dance recital on Saturday night. The event went down at the Music Center at Strathmore, a suburban Bethesda, Md., arts center. Obama reportedly returned to the White House about an hour later. OK, so he couldn't hang out for long, but cut the guy a little slack. He's a good dad, but he's also busy running the country. Plus, as Obama reportedly noted in January, the girls are getting to that awkward age where "they don’t want to spend that much time with me anyway."
