The kryptonite to President Obama's supercool demeanor? A simple housefly. As the commander in chief was announcing his nominees Thursday to lead the Securities and Exchange Commission and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, he was stalked by a pesky insect, which zipped around his head and landed, at one point, right between his eyes. "This guy is bothering me here," the POTUS noted, waving off the little buzzer. He was either unwilling or unable to deliver the sort of mortal blow he famously dealt a fly who landed on him during a 2009 TV interview. Perhaps that was a job for a SWAT team. [Source]
