Obama makes a wild face while reading to kids
4/9/2012The White House Easter Egg Roll took place today, and President Obama took the opportunity to ham it up for his audience during his traditional reading of Maurice Sendak's "Where the Wild Things Are." He acted out the entire book and asked kids to do the same, as the First Lady held his microphone, leading to the dramatic moment pictured above.
"Who can do the wild rumpus?" the president asked, a line that could have a long shelf life in campaign ads or mock rock videos. The kiddies seemed to like it too, certainly more than the schoolchildren we wrote about earlier today who fled, shrieking, when they saw a purple panda.
What book would you like to see the president read?
