Obama named Time's 'Person of the Year' again
12/19/2012President Barack Obama has been named by Time magazine as its Person of the Year for 2012 after securing a second term in office in November. The announcement, made by the publication's managing editor, Rick Stengel, on NBC's "Today" show, hands Obama his second win for the coveted title (he was also named Person of the Year in 2008). A slew of U.S. presidents have secured this honor: In recent years, George W. Bush managed it in 2000 and 2004, while Bill Clinton nabbed the title in 1992 and 1998. Other nominees for this year's prize included Egypt's president, Mohammed Morsi, as well as Bill and Hillary Clinton. [Source]
