You can almost see Obama's heart break when he heard about Newtown

As anxious parents of students from Sandy Hook Elementary School sent their children back to school for the first time Thursday since last month's massacre, the White House released a poignant photo of President Obama that was taken as he learned of the shootings. The photo was snapped Dec. 14 by White House staff photographer Pete Souza and shows a solemn Obama, his arms crossed and his head down as he is being briefed by adviser John Brennan. Obama later gave a speech in which he called the Newtown shooting, in which 20 young children and seven adults were killed, the "worst day" of his presidency. [Source]
