You can almost see Obama's heart break when he heard about Newtown
1/5/2013As anxious parents of students from Sandy Hook Elementary School sent their children back to school for the first time Thursday since last month's massacre, the White House released a poignant photo of President Obama that was taken as he learned of the shootings. The photo was snapped Dec. 14 by White House staff photographer Pete Souza and shows a solemn Obama, his arms crossed and his head down as he is being briefed by adviser John Brennan. Obama later gave a speech in which he called the Newtown shooting, in which 20 young children and seven adults were killed, the "worst day" of his presidency. [Source]
