That's the crux of the message from the Obama administration in an email that seems to insist that the budget cuts be as painful as promised. People are slamming the prez after Charles Brown of the Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service sent an email asking if there was "any latitude" on how the cuts could be spread to reduce the impact on fish. He was told they'd "gone on record" detailing the budget cuts so, "however you manage that reduction, you need to make sure you are not contradicting what we said the impact would be." [Source]
