Smoking gun? White House releases photo of Obama shooting a shotgun

Impeccable timing, guys. On Saturday, the White House released a 2012 photo of President Obama shooting a gun — and guess what? Next week, he’s due in Minnesota to speak about (what else?) gun control measures. Is that a mixed message, or an attempt to warm opposition up to the president's views? You tell us. The pic shows the prez shooting clay targets at the range on Camp David in Maryland. In a recent interview with The New Republic magazine, Obama said his family "[goes] skeet shooting all the time." (Not his daughters, of course.) He heads to Minnesota on Monday to talk guns.
