Obama skips on bill after meal about responsible parenting
6/15/2012Imagine you're on the wait staff at Kenny's BBQ Smokehouse, the D.C. eatery where President Obama stopped in for a surprise plate of pork ribs on Wednesday. Exactly how would you stop the leader of the free world from walking out on his bill? Because Obama and his lunch companions — two servicemen and two barbers — did an inadvertent dine and dash, leaving their empty plates and an unpaid check for $55.58 behind. Obama made Kenny's one of the stops on his Fatherhood Buzz project, a campaign designed — IRONY ALERT — to share information about "responsible fatherhood." The White House paid the bill by the end of the day but we'll leave the tip: Look for the check next time!
