No D-Day statement from President Obama today. He did make an oral sex joke at LGBT fundraiser though. So there's that. He will get votes.
Obama tells possibly dirty joke about Michelle in public
6/7/2012At an LGBT fundraiser Wednesday night in Beverly Hills, President Barack Obama delivered a joke that was either wickedly clever, inappropriately off-color -- or simply about pushups. Referencing his wife Michelle's appearance on event host Ellen DeGeneres' show back in February, the president noted that DeGeneres "accepts a little bit of teasing about Michelle beating her in pushups. But I think she claims that Michelle didn't go all the way down." The audience roared its delight as he let the line "hang naughtily," as a White House pool reporter wrote. Not surprisingly, Twitter roared back with different reactions altogether. Was the joke below the belt or just misinterpreted? Maybe "don't ask, don't tell" is the right policy on this kerfuffle.
