Obama jetting back to Hawaii after Congress passes 'fiscal cliff' bill

1/2/2013

After making a brief statement on the "fiscal cliff" legislation passed by the House today, a tired-looking President Barack Obama will be heading back to Hawaii to continue his $4 million vacation, according to the Associated Press. In a speech at the White House, Obama described the watered-down legislation (which was passed 257-167) as proof of his willingness to compromise with Republicans in finding a way for the U.S. to pay down some of its $1.7 trillion deficit while still generating jobs for the 2 million Americans looking for work. Well, we know a guy on vacation in Hawaii who needs a good caddie. Anyone interested? [Source]
