Obama shows his age (and his teeth!) in new official portrait

1/18/2013

Being the leader of the free world sure ages a guy. The White House unveiled President Obama's official second-term portrait Friday, and the POTUS looks a lot older than he did four years ago (click through the images above to see how other presidents' looks have fared over time). In his first-term portrait, Obama looks serious and purposeful, relatively unlined and dark-haired. Now he's a lot grayer, with a new batch of eye wrinkles. On the other hand, he swapped his solemn striped tie for a more whimsical dotted one, appears with his arms crossed over his chest in a satisfied pose and is flashing an almost giddy grin. Maybe he's just pleased he doesn't have to run for office again.
