Obama victory speech offers hope, but not for his dog-loving girls11/7/2012
Barack Obama's acceptance speech touched on many familiar themes from his first term, such as hope, optimism and a spirit of bipartisanship. But Obama made it clear that one thing would be different this time around — sorry Malia and Sasha, but "one dog is enough." It was a pretty typical speech, praising Romney's honor and whooping up Team Obama (including "Happy Warrior" Joe Biden). Obama didn't seem particularly into it until his concluding remarks, leading us to think he's just a lot more excited to talk about hope and change than health care policy. Still, one major question remains: why did the woman behind him on the left have a flag taped to the back of her head?
