Octopus molests dolphin in bizarre photo
6/20/2012A cheeky octopus was photographed in a compromising position in Western Greece last week, clinging to the, ahem, naughty bits of a bottlenose dolphin. Scientist Joan Gonzalvo noticed the 8-legged creature stuck to the dolphin's underside, and told the New Scientist that she'd never seen anything like it. Her hypothesis: The dolphin may have attacked the octopus, prompting the cephalopod to latch on to the dolphin's belly and cling for dear life. The incident capped off an interesting week in all things squid; just a few days ago, an undercooked one made headlines when it, erm, attempted to impregnate a Korean woman's mouth (we don't really get it either, but it's gross).
