Building located in two countries is adorably inefficient
8/9/2012It's a model of government inefficiency: The Eurode Business Center shares a border with both Germany and the Netherlands. As in, the border line literally runs down the middle of the room. It was supposed to be a model of a Europe without borders, but there are still some kinks. Try mailing a letter from the German side of the building to the Dutch side, and it'll take at least a week for it to arrive. Why not just hand it to the person themselves? Because each country wants to collect as many taxes as possible, which proves we really are all the same. [Source]
