Fuming figure skater with sucky English says agency ripped her off
11/21/2012Talent agency William Morris Endeavor could be skating on very thin ice after allegedly taking advantage of an Olympic gold medalist's lack of language skills. Ukrainian figure skater Oksana Baiul claims WME swindled her out of more than $1 million because of her poor grasp of English. Baiul won gold at the 1994 Winter Olympics when she was just 16 and signed with the agency. The skater discovered a host of alleged accounting discrepancies by the agency after she hired a new personal manager last year. The former champ has filed a lawsuit in the Los Angeles Superior Court against WME seeking her missing payments. [Source]
