One in five people fess up to peeing in swimming pools

Yep, that which we've always known to be true - because everybody secretly does it - has now been confirmed. People pee in the pool. One-in-five respondents to a survey by the Water Quality and Health Council admitted to contributing to the myriad disgusting contaminants already backstroking happily around the average pool. Also, seven in 10 people don't bother showering before diving in. Their sweat, sunscreen, dead skin, and other filth combines with chlorine to give you the red eyes and rashes you enjoy so much. So next time someone goes all quiet while they're kicking back in your pool, you might want to direct them to a bathroom.
