8/24/2012People don't necessarily turn to satirical website The Onion for analysis of the lastest current events but following this morning's shooting outside the Empire State Building, the site summed up the nation's frustration and sadness over another mass shooting with a simple two word update. Amending an item published earlier this week titled "Nation Celebrates Full Week Without Deadly Shooting," the writers added "Update: Never Mind." In a time when traditional news outlets regularly update their items to keep up with fast news cycles, this one might be the best, and saddest, update ever. [Source]
