Paralympian Pistorius charged with premeditated Valentine's Day murder
2/19/2013South African Paralympian Oscar Pistorius was charged Tuesday with premeditated murder — the same day that the life of his girlfriend, Reeva Steenkamp, was celebrated at a memorial in her hometown of Port Elizabeth. Pistorius cried as the prosecuting attorney laid out the government's case, which contends that Steenkamp was cowering behind a locked bathroom door while Pistorius blasted gunshots through it.
