Was 'roid rage' involved in murder of Pistorius' girlfriend?
2/18/2013Paralympic sprinter-turned-accused murderer Oscar Pistorius will be tested for steroids after performance-enhancing injectables were discovered in his home. According to the South African press, the police have asked for a blood test to be done on Pistorius, and some speculate that his defense team will argue that he shot and killed girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp during an episode of "'roid rage." Evidence continues to build against Pistorius after police say they discovered a blood-covered cricket bat at the scene. In addition to being shot four times, Steenkamp also had a fractured skull. The 29-year-old model will be buried during an "intimate" family-only ceremony on Tuesday. [Source]
