Owner throws ridiculously posh pool party for 2-year-old (pup)

We're easily annoyed by parents who throw over-the-top birthday celebrations for their spoiled spawn, but New Delhi's Priyamvada Sharma isn't. She took the concept even further, giving her Dalmatian, Oreo, the poshest pool party this side of the Bay of Bengal. The resort-hosted bash featured 20 of Oreo's best canine friends and a cake made of cheese and chicken tikkas, topped with a rib-shaped biscuit.

Apparently, this is a "thing" among India's middle class, which offers up its hard-earned rupees to pay for upmarket vets, grooming parlors, and full-time maids. Not all dogs are created equal, though. Pugs are seen as status symbols, while lowly strays can expect the usual Alpo on their special day. [Source]
