Pacific island tells Gaga entire population will go to show
4/10/2012Lady Gaga set all kinds of attendance records on her first Monster's Ball concert tour, "Poker Face"-ing for over 2.5 million people. Now, the teeny Pacific island of Niue hopes to lure her to do a show for 1,600 people, promising the singer that the entire population will be in the crowd. Niue Tourism Director Hayden Porter wrote an open letter to Gaga and has turned its Facebook page into a Niuean fan site. Gaga is scheduled to play three shows in neighboring New Zealand so maybe she'd be willing to travel another 1,500 miles. "We know it's a crazy idea," Porter said. "But we figure that Lady Gaga is crazy enough that she may just go for it."
Should Gaga make the trip?
