Parents hate viral dancing bird's 'demonic' music
6/4/2012Stacie Richie had no idea that the videos she made of her pet cockatoo dancing to pop songs would go viral (because obviously Stacie didn't realize that the Internet is powerless against adorable animals). Regardless, that's where the problems started. Her super-devout parents can't get behind the cleverly named Larry Bird, not when he's rocking out to secular music. "We came to Christ, me and my wife did, back in 2010," dad Gary Richie says. "We don't support that demonic sound and the repetition." Family harmony is doubtful, especially since the "demonic sound" of Willow Smith's "Whip My Hair" seems to be one of Larry's favorite jams. Hey, at least Larry doesn't have a pelvis to thrust.
Is the bird's music a big deal?
