Paris Jackson was 'really confused' by face coverings
6/7/2012Paris Jackson has answered a long-burning question: How did she feel about having her face covered when appearing in public with dad Michael Jackson? "I was really confused, like I didn't get why I was wearing a mask," Jackson's daughter, now 14, tells Oprah Winfrey in an interview airing Sunday. "But I understand it now." MJ wanted his kids to have a "normal" childhood and be able to go out without him to such places as Chuck E. Cheese and Toys R Us without being recognized. "When he was younger, he didn't really have a childhood," Jackson says. "And he wanted us to have that." There was a method to the madness, it seems.
Was it wise or weird for Michael Jackson to cover his kids' faces?
