California - Vegas 'nightclub on wheels' may launch in '13
11/24/2012What happens in Vegas might not stay in Vegas anymore — it might stretch as far as southern California. A Nevada company wants to launch the X Train next year, a "nightclub on wheels" that would carry revelers from Fullerton, Calif., to downtown Las Vegas in about five hours. The deluxe "party train" would include large-screen TVs, two lounges and recliners, at a cost of $99 each way (adult-only passengers, but of course). And duh, alcoholic drinks would be flowing, for those who didn't get their fill in Sin City. "The whole idea is when you get on a train, you feel like you're in Las Vegas," said Michael Barron, president and CEO of the $100 million venture. [Source]
