Passenger tracks missing iPad to flight attendant's home
9/24/2012Some flight attendants can be touchy about passengers using their iPads in the air, even if they need to use them to communicate. Other flight attendants are Apple fans to a fault. Police say a Nevada man used the Find My iPad app to locate his device after it disappeared on a Horizon Air flight. He tracked it to the Oregon City residence of a Horizon Air flight attendant, Wendy Ronelle Dye. Dye, 43, told police she hadn't used the iPad and that she intended to hand it over to the airline. However police found Dye's personal information, including her husband's birthday, on the well-travelled Apple product and arrested her. [Source]
