Pat Robertson says women should 'look pretty' or marriages will fail

If you're keeping track at home, Pat Robertson has said his First Dumb Thing of 2013. A 17-year-old boy wrote to ask how he could get his distracted dad to pay more attention to his mom. Ol' Pat took a crack at the question, first suggesting that the parents take a romantic getaway. But then he brought the crazy, tearing into this poor kid's mom ("She may not be as sweet as you think she is") and telling a joke (?) about a woman who was so "overweight and terrible looking" that she'd drive her minister to drink! HILARIOUS. Robertson later suggested that if women want to keep "the spark of love alive" they'd best "look pretty." [Source]
