Man sues Penthouse Club because strippers play too rough

The strip club lap dance is a pretty standard part of the bachelor party experience. Unfortunately for one Pennsylvania man, his bachelor party ended, he says, after a stripper allegedly slid off a pole and landed so hard on his lap that his bladder ruptured. Now Patrick Gallagher is suing the Penthouse Club in Philadelphia for his injury. Gallagher claims that during a November 2010 visit, dancers brought him onstage and had him lie on his back under the pole, where a dancer slid from a "great height" and landed hard on his abdomen. Gallagher required surgery for the bladder injury and also sustained nerve damage in his back and hip; he's seeking $50,000 for medical bills and pain, plus "humiliation and mental anguish."
