Super-honest airport janitor returns lost iPad and $13K in cash
1/10/2013Few would pass up the chance to snag a free iPad — particularly when it comes with a side of cash. But for one incredibly principled airport janitor, the temptation to make off with the swag gave way to his natural decency. Last month, Patrick Morgan found an iPad, and $13,000 stuffed in its case, at the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport. Morgan alerted authorities, and the grateful owner slipped him $60, which he promptly gave to a homeless woman and a struggling colleague. Morgan was rewarded for his honesty: He got a plaque and reward from from airport managers and $625 from his employer. [Source]
