Did Paul Ryan just endorse Hillary Clinton for president?
1/27/2013Paul Ryan was very nice about Hillary Clinton on "Meet the Press" on Sunday. "If we had a [Hillary] Clinton presidency ... I think we would have fixed this fiscal mess by now," Ryan said to NBC’s David Gregory. Wait, what? Did Paul Ryan just say that a Hillary administration would have repaired the economy? Isn’t that … high praise? Like, endorsement-level praise? Hillary is seen as a major contender for the 2016 Democratic presidential nomination, so such a tribute is really weird coming from a Republican, doubly so because the GOP has been slamming her on Benghazi all week. Perhaps Ryan will "clarify" his comments once it sinks in. [Source]
