Paying by handshake puts money literally at the tips of your fingers

Get your hand sanitizer ready, because the next step in making payments could be with a handshake. Buying stuff without boring old coins and paper bills is becoming a big industry itself, and in the world of retail, customers are already being given the option to tap their credit cards or even use mobiles. Tech commentators believe we'll soon have easy ways to transmit data electronically through the skin, too, which futurologist Ian Pearson believes is now on the "fringes of acceptability." He does say that most of us "wouldn't accept this level of invasiveness," but many others are just concerned about other people not washing their hands after visiting the bathroom. Gross. [Source]
