Charlie Brown sure to lose again (sigh) in upcoming 'Peanuts' film
10/10/2012Fans of the "Peanuts" comic strip will be going nuts amid news a new film adaptation is in the works. The CGI, likely 3-D movie will be written by Schulz's son, Craig, and put together by the team behind "Ice Age." It is expected to be released on November 25, 2015, to mark the 65th anniversary of the strip and 50 years since "A Charlie Brown Christmas" debuted. Between 1950 and 2001, a total 17,897 "Peanuts" strips were published. At its peak, the strip ran in 21 languages across 2,600 newspapers and was enjoyed by some 355 million readers. Good grief, indeed. [Source]
