Peephole in hotel room taints couple's view of anniversary vacation

A Canadian couple was mortified to discover that some sweaty pervert may have enjoyed their first anniversary celebrations as much as they had. Sarah Edwards and David Traccitto of Bradford, Ontario, were on vacation at the Grand Serenis Riviera Maya resort near Playa del Carmen, Mexcio, when they found a peephole drilled into the bathroom wall — at "genital level" Edwards said, and through to the bedroom. Traccitto found the hole after his wife alerted him to suspicious noises coming from the maintenance room next door. "I thought, 'My life is ruined'," Edwards said, perhaps somewhat melodramatically.
