If you're younger than 28, you've never known a truly cold month

11/17/2012

If you’re one of those young whippersnappers who are below the age of 28, you’ve never felt the true bone-chilling cold of a colder-than-average month. Aside from this sounding a lot like what an old person shouts right before going off about your "twitterme-dos" and "bingbang searching" it could actually be a troubling indication of climate change. This October was the 332nd consecutive month to not dip below average warmth, dating back to April 1985. This summer’s drought in the Midwest is expected to cause more financial damage than Superstorm Sandy, which swept ashore after feeding off the warmer-than-average seas off the East Coast.
