Magazine fail is an unsubtle reminder of why body image issues exist
2/25/2013Ah, magazines. Where else could masses of females turn for completely inaccurate views of their bodies? One of the latest (and funniest) celeb mag fails reportedly comes in a recent edition of People StyleWatch. The photo, shared on Reddit, bears the headline "Perfect Skirts for Every Body and Budget" yet perplexingly features three women with essentially the same body. The puzzling photo has left the Internet wondering: One, why are they teasing us with a concept but not showing us? Two, how did these thin, comparably-framed celebs get dubbed "curvy," "boyish" and "pear-shaped"? And three, what should those of us who actually are "curvy," "boyish" and "pear-shaped" drape our legs with? One of grandma's curtains, perhaps? [Source]
