PETA asks kids to give up their Thanksgiving turkeys
11/10/2012PETA has a new target in its sights: kids. Not eating them, obviously — but the under-21 set is the focus of the animal-rights organization's latest PR campaign. PETA recently debuted a campaign asking kids to consider the morality of their Thanksgiving dinners, with billboards reading: "KIDS: If you wouldn't eat your dog, why eat a turkey?" The accompanying image shows a dog's head on a turkey's body — and we're thinking that picture alone might be enough to drive sensitive children to a lifetime of veganism. [Source]
