Cops save dog left for dead, fix him up with sweet colored casts1/18/2013
Everyone thought Philly the dog was dead after he was hit by a car. The brown pit bill lay on the sidewalk for more than five hours before LAPD officers realized from his slightly wagging tail that he was still alive. That was good news to everyone except Philly's owners, who told the cops they didn't care if their pooch lived and advised them to just "put him down." Luckily, the cops weren't so awful. Philly's broken front left leg has been wrapped in a variety of brightly colored casts, and his new police buddies are asking for donations to help continue his treatment. [Source]
