'Pianists in Paris' remake hip-hop hit with impeccable style
6/2/2012The experimental music group CDZA (short for "Collective Cadenza") is the team behind previous Internet hits such as "Zuckerberg: The Musical," and now they're back with an extremely cheerful reworking of the Jay-Z and Kanye West hit "Niggaz in Paris." "Pianists in Paris" reimagines the 2011 hip-hop hit as a seven-hand, piano-centric composition, complete with a moving piano, a jazzy interlude, and a lot of Julliard students in suits. This is the group's fourth project since it debuted last September; next up from them, on June 12, will be "NYC Phoneharmonic."
