Piers Morgan and Touré face off online and on-air
3/31/2012The Trayvon Martin case has sparked a new mini-feud, this one involving CNN's Piers Morgan and MSNBC's Touré. After @toure went on a Twitter rant about Morgan's alleged kid-gloves handling of shooter George Zimmerman's brother on "Piers Morgan Tonight," Morgan brought Touré onto his show to debate the merits of the interview. "At NBC in the hallways, we were laughing at you today," Touré mocked, accusing Morgan of lobbing softballs at Robert Zimmerman. Morgan defended himself by playing a clip of him grilling Robert and eventually tweeting that the MSNBC host is "an unprofessional, fatuous loudmouth." Yikes.
